What Happens After I Make A Report?

Your decision to use the AEO Hotline reflects our AEO values in action -- so we thank you! By escalating a concern or incident, you are supporting your fellow associates and reinforcing our speak up culture. Of course, even if you choose to make a report to the hotline, you always have the choice to also speak directly with HR, your immediate supervisor or any other manager in your department, the General Counsel, the Chief Compliance Officer, or any member of the ELT.

Many times, direct reporting can get you assistance faster! If you need to talk to someone about Benefits or have an issue with your paycheck? Reach out directly!
BENEFITS: 724-779-5387 or Benefits@ae.com
PAYROLL: 724-779-9183 or Payroll@ae.com

Regardless, once you make a report, it is confidentially reviewed by the Compliance department, which then designates it for investigation by the person best equipped to handle the investigation based on all of the facts and circumstances. During the investigation, you may be contacted through this tool to provide additional information.  Your participation is the best way to ensure that your voice is heard and all of the facts are uncovered. In any event, an appropriate investigation will proceed, including communications with people you have identified or any person the investigator believes might have relevant information. You will be informed when the case has been deemed closed. Whether we know your identity or not, at no time will you ever face retaliation or any other negative consequence for making a report.

Letter From Jay

AEO is all about being REAL, and our associate hotline is an important part of that culture. The hotline is just one way we can identify problems and take action to resolve them. I and our board rely on reports from this hotline, as well as our discussions with the Executive Leadership Team, as just one of a multitude of ways to keep our fingers on the pulse of our AEO culture. So please SPEAK UP with pride and confidence, knowing that I and our entire leadership team support and appreciate you for caring about AEO and its people.
